Amy Meyer is the founder of Aussie Recruit, the leading US-based recruitment firm connecting U.S. employers with top Australian talent. A Sydney native turned San Francisco local, Amy built Aussie Recruit after witnessing how often exceptional Australian candidates were overlooked in the U.S. due to limited visa awareness. Today, Aussie Recruit helps companies across diverse industries tackle talent shortages, increase diversity, and recruit top-tier talent.- all by tapping into a hidden pool of 9,000+ skilled Australians already in or ready to relocate to the U.S.

Amy is a recognized expert on hiring Australians in America via the E-3 visa, a fast, affordable and low-friction alternative to traditional sponsorship paths. She partners with startups to large enterprises to help them hire quickly, bring a global perspective to their teams, and avoid the delays of the H-1B process.

Before founding Aussie Recruit, Amy was Head of People at an HR tech company, leading recruitment across all business functions. She’s supported thousands of Australians with their U.S. job search and knows the journey firsthand having relocated from Sydney to San Francisco over 12 years ago. Now a dual Australian-American citizen and full-time mom of 3, she launched Aussie Recruit when her first child was just a few months old.

Amy also runs the Australians In San Francisco Bay Area community and shares tips, and behind the scenes stories on LinkedIn and Instagram.
