Hi, I'm Amy Meyer - an Aussie in the US and the founder of Aussie Recruit. Over the last several years, I’ve built the go-to talent agency and community for Australians in the States, and I’ve personally coached hundreds of Australians to land life-changing roles on E-3 visas.
When I moved from Sydney to the US in 2013, I experienced the job search challenges Australians face. A year later, when I transitioned to a new role, those same hurdles were still there. And four years after that, when the US startup I was working for suddenly shut down, I felt that pressure all over again - this time with the added stress of a 60-day visa clock.
